North Carolina > Greensboro: Stameys BBQ

Stameys is one my favorites here in N.C. The BBQ is cooked fresh daily over hickory wood with just a touch Lexington style sauce added.

When I was a kid I lived on Market St.in G'Boro. Used to ride my bike to Stamey's once a week and spend my allowance on Sweet tea, hush-puppies, and as much Q as I could eat and still ride that bicycle home. These days I occasionally work in the coliseum area, and I always stop at Stamey's for a little nostalgia and dern good BBQ.
