This is one of those people who are probably also under the impression that the Performer can be used as a gas grill (as frightening as that may be). I've seen more than a few reviews stating that the single flame burner isn't enough to really get the grill hot enough. :rolleyes:
 
It's clean on the outside but $200? That is not motivated. I purchased a performer from an owner that had lava rock on the charcoal grates, maybe that helped with the temp using gas. Mine had the trash can missing.
 
You know something. . . That's not a bad idea. I keep my charcoal in a plastic airtight bin, and I don't use my "trash can" that much.

that and a rotisserie, might make a good dehydrator :)
