Meat slicer recommendation

Hello all! I am in the market for a meat slicer that will be used for all manner of items (veggies, hams, turkey breasts, bacon, etc) but the primary purchase driver is slicing homemade bacon. Does anyone have experience with either of these two models and could you make a recommendation for one over the other? Right now both are the same price...$280. Thanks!

Cabela's Commercial Grade 8.7" - http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-Commercial-Grade-87-Meat-Slicer/1843433.uts

The nice thing about buying at Cabela's is that you can return it. Other than that, no comment on either. Although I still POed that my brother had a beauty Hobart commercial machine he GAVE AWAY beacuse it was too large. Did not tell me. <grrr>

Buddy just bought the cabelas and it does a great job.....we have a Berkel at work and it's not much different.
Decent power too
I would say get biggest blade you can afford as bellies can be somewhat large and difficult to slice on smaller slicers

Another question for you. The width of the pork belly is wider than the width of the carriage. Is there a safe way to use the Cabela's slicer for bacon? Their 12" slicer has the same issue so short of buying a commercial slicer, I'm not sure what to do. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!
