I wonder how that damage happened? If it was shipped that way, Weber might replace that lid. It really hurts to see that...

This is his difficult to believe story

"I bought this in early summer and didn't get to open it since we moved into a new house and when I recently opened it I discovered it was damaged which I'm assuming happened during shipping process. Since I waited 3 months after purchasing they said there is nothing they can do."

That kind of damage would have been obious just by looking at the box but he discovered it when he opened it, yeah right! Besides, who buys a new grill full price right before he moves?

I can believe it. It's not likely, but possible.
I sell damaged goods and so many times the box looks perfect but hides major damage to the merchandise inside.
