Hi everyone, Happy smoke day, Happy Memorial Day too. Hope that you all are having a great weekend. We had planned to head up to the mountains for the day but the weather changed our minds. Decided to smoke up some baby backs at home that we had got the other day. Yesterday the wife & I smothered them in yellow mustard, then did a rub of Memphis Dixie Dust, Blues Hog & Bone Suckin'. Covered with wrap and let sit in the fridge till noon today.
This morning got the Weber Smoky Mountain ready to go. I used all Royal Oak with Kingford smokehouse hickory chunks. Into the smoker
Couple hrs later & temps are getting just right. Time to give them a spritzing with apple juice.
Deb made up her beans and we put them in under the ribs, they turned out perfect.
Smothered the ribs with honey, sprinkled with brown sugar and another spritzing with apple juice.
Myles wants to know when the ribs will be ready????
To be continued......

Gave the ribs a light coat of bone suckin' sauce before they were done. It's time to eat.
Here is your plate,
And a Happy 14th Birthday to Rose.
Have a safe & Happy weekend,
russ & deb
