Just noticed..

I was mounting the fans to my 18 and 22 this week getting ready for a competition next week and noticed that the bottom bowl where the vent rivets come thruogh is all chipped up on the inside. This now makes it PRIME spots for rust!

I don't see any signs of rust forming yet and was wondering what (if anything) I can do to prevent rust from starting.

Any ideas?

make sure it is clean as you get it from grease dirt soot and shoot with a layer of high temp bbq paint let it dry and apply a second coat on the spots that are chipped.

check for rust or chips reforming from time to time.
