Marinated JUMBO Prawns on my new Genesis 320!

Hi guys! My Genesis 320 finally arrived yesterday. Luckily I took off work to take delivery and assemble it. Assembly wasnt bad at all. Took about two hours. Here she is:

Here are the shrimp before the grill. I marinated them in mccormicks baja citrus. They marinated for 24 hours which was a little too long but they were still awesome!

Here are the ones with Wolfe Citrus. I did half with rub and half without. Both were equally good.

I did two seperate batches. Here is the first set going. Grilled them direct about 375 to 400 until opaque.

Wow! what a beautiful piece of hardware!

I love prawns, my favorite is to marinate 10-12's in some kind of a citrus base, with red pepper flakes for some heat then put 3 on a bamboo skewer over a medium high heat.

Have fun with the new toy!
 
I've had the exact same grill for a couple years now, and I love it. I don't use the side burner much. Looks like you're off to a good start with the shrimp.
