Just got my Maverick ET-733. Seems like a useful gadget. Doesn't have a "quality" feel to it. Can't wait to try it this weekend with the 14.5 WSM. So far I've done BBQ chicken, pulled chicken, babybacks and chicken drumsticks. Maybe time for some beef.

Bob, I love my 733. I especially like how I can set alarms to warn me of low pit temps and when the meat is at the I.T. I want.
 
First time using the the Maverick. Really liking it.

Back when I was Your age we used to have to run the probes through the vent holes and stay within line of sight for our remote thermometers to work.
 
Nice setup. I may upgrade my 732 to a 733 and my mid section on my 22 1/2" WSM so I have the Grommet.
 
I like that... wondering if I could order that without the wife knowing and hide the old 732... Think she'll notice?
