Lid Open switch?

I was wondering what would be involved to have a momentary contact switch mounted by the smoker to toggle the Lid Open/Closed function?

I built a table for the kettle & smoker. I'm considering locating the LCD on a waterproof panel behind and above the smoker with a push button switch next to it to toggle the lid open. Thus far I never use the 4 way switch on the HM except to toggle the lid open/closed. I do all my control from the web interface.

You can put the momentary switch between pins 2 and 4 of the 4-way button. They're numbered top-left = 1, then go counterclockwise. 2 and 4 are the middle left and bottom right contacts. When press the button it should be the same as pressing the 4-way to the left.
