Measurements on the mini

I'm contemplating a build of the mini and have a couple of ideas but don't have my Vasconia steamer yet. Can one of you send me the measurements of the distance between the bottom of the pot to the "steamer ring" that olds the bottom grate on? Thanks!
 
I went unconventional. I cut out that entire bottom area up to the steamer ledge. The steamer ledge sits on the SJ. My mini is close to 3" shorter in overall height.

So it'll have a nice, smooth body without that ridge at the bottom. I didn't lose much in capacity either. I still have plenty of room for 2 grates and a diffuser, but I now rarely use that second grate. The mini is even more compact with this setup.
My Cobb grill with its rather short smoke chamber produces decent results so I figured I'd chop the tamale pot shorter.
