Healthy grilling trend

Kevin,

The trend toward healthier grilling options, like more lean meat and vegetables, was mentioned in the latest Weber GrillWatch survey. We discussed that here on TVWBB, and as a result we started a new Healthy Grilling subforum.

Do you see this trend in the questions people are asking you online? How is this trend affecting the things you blog about for Weber?

Chris,
I think in general people are paying closer attention to what they are eating and moving towards a healthier lifestyle. That being said just because a protein is lean does not necessarily mean it is healthier for you, at times this is not always the case. Reading the labels and doing some research on the foods we are eating is also good practice. Everything in moderation is the best practice with some light exercise.

On-line, the blog and facebook people ask about how to grill all different types of proteins and products. This affects things on the blog because we need to make sure we are delivering materials our consumers need to to be successful in there backyard. More and more people are grilling, bbq'ing and smoking and it is our job to make sure we are giving them quality materials that help keep the flame of BBQ burning.
