Terrible news has struck Calgary. We are under a "level three" fire ban due to the really dry conditions. What this means is my smoke day may be cancelled. We need some rain, and the forecast looks good but its tough to have such beautiful weather and not be allowed to fire up the girls.
 
Nope, its really not... Probably for the best since its not safe - but I have officially cancelled my smoke day festivities this week since I am still scheduled for travel next week.. I am hoping i can get out of that and still have a hootenany, but we just dont know.
 
Is it a fire ban for cookers too? Where i live the fire law is different for cookers. I also dont ever cook in my oven it stores my pans.
 
Well I'd have to hack the best I can with the gasser if they cancel the charcoal burning. Good luck!
