I'm a man of wealth and taste.....

Well, not really either...but I do love BBQ.

I'm new to the site and vertical smokers, but I'm not new to smokers in general. I have an offset smoker that I've played around with a little bit for a couple of years, but never really could get it to do what I wanted. I'm in the process of raising money for a WSM after doing some research.

I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can from you folks.
 
Just waiting on the tax return to hit my bank account...."The boss" has already cleared me to make the purchase. The welcome here has been warmer than I expected. Please bear w/ my questions till I get the hang of the search feature here (I searched for "water pan" today and got several hundred hits, but none seemingly geared to what I wanted to know)
 
If you head to the WSM section, you can ask any questions there and no one will get on your case. As a new guy to the WSM myself, I can tell you this place is a wealth of information. We'll get you settled in and never want to eat production BBQ again. :)
