Hey everyone, just saying hello. I've been a lurker for a while, saw the heatermeter project years ago but never bit the bullet and made one. I've put together a PID controller for my chargriller smokin' pro and now one for my UDS, but I've just read up on the latest and greatest on the heatermeter and will be assembling a 4.0 with the raspberry pi. I rediscovered the heatermeter builds after considering picking up a maverick et732 - the heatermeter looks like much more fun :)

Great forum, looking forward to learning and contributing :)

My favorite things to put on the smoker are pork butts and briskets!

Thanks, everybody. Looking forward to collecting all of the HeaterMeter parts and getting it going. Getting married soon so the time for toys is a little short.. but there's always time for BBQ :)
