Hello! I've been grilling for a few years now but havent really got into it until this past summer after my wife got me a smoker for my bday/fathers day. I recieved an Orion Convection Cooker and although its not a "traditional" smoker, it gets the job done and I even placed 6th in tri-tip and 7th in ribs for my 1st competition this past sept in Mariposa, CA. I dont own a WSM just yet but I am getting one (22.5) within the next few weeks with my tax return. So in the meantime I thought I'd register on this site and just lurk/browse thru the threads just to see how all you pitmasters get the job done. Smoke On!:wsm:
 
Welcome , brother! Lots of good people and bbq smarts here....that Orion cooker looks pretty cool , and I guarantee...you will love that WSM .:wsm:

Thank you all for the welcomes! Just by reading the forums and looking at the photo galleries makes me want my WSM even more. Alot of info and techniques to use and learn from. Hurry up government with my tax return! lol
