Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I've been smoking ribs and pork shoulder on my weber gas grill for a couple of years, but since we're putting a new deck on the house this upcoming spring I think I'm also going to add a WSM to go along with the gasser. Even though I don't have the smoker yet, I thought I'd join up here and start researching techniques and other accessories in order to hit the ground running. From what I've seen so far this looks like an awesome board/community!
 
Welcome Jay. There is lot of good reading here as well as some great pointers from seasoned smokers. I did a bunch of smoking on my Weber kettle but people here helped me transition to a WSM with great tips an suggestions.
 
Welcome aboard Jay, you will find there are some great cooks on here and it will greatly shorten your learning curve.
 
Welcome. I did alot of reading on this forum before I bought my WSM. Its the reason I bought it and not another brand of smoker.
