Hug Light

Forgot to mention a stocking stuffer I got this year. It's called a hug light. Pretty neat.

I saw those in a store, but thought they were just for reading. How is it at the grill?

I really liked it. I've been using a headlamp for a bit and that's worked pretty well. But the hug light lights a larger area. And because it basically rests on your shoulders, any minor head movements don't really impact where the light is aimed. That was my only beef with the headlamp. I felt like I had to "aim my head". Not a big deal until I tried the hug light. It's very light. In fact, wearing a long sleeve t-shirt, i forgot I had it on and was walking around the house with it. And it gives off good light. I'll admit, I was very skeptical at first. The other advantage is if you're wearing a hat, the headlamp can be limited in it's effectiveness.
