Hello All,
Greetings from Westford Massachusetts. I've owned a Q100 for about a year and am still learning the nuances of grilling with it. I am planning on grilling five 3" thick Tenderloin steaks for dinner tomorrow night. Although my Grilling Guide that came with my grill helps enormously when deciding how long and and at what level to have the flame to grill various foods, it unfortunately does not have information on grilling 3" thick Tenderloin steaks. The Grilling Guide shows a max thickness for Tenderloin steak of 1.5" and cooking time of 14 to 16 minutes,(sear 10 minutes High, grill 4 to 6 minutes Low). I want my 3" thick Tenderloin steaks to end up Medium Rare (red center, warm to the touch). Should i follow these same directions for my 3" thck Tenderloin steaks. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
