North Florida, just upgraded to a WSM from a Brinkmann ECB.... What a difference!!!!

Greetings, I've been using a 30$ Brinkmann for about a year now, just got my new 18.5 WSM. I did a pork loin and some chicken thighs. The WSM was very good at holding the temps steady. I still have alot to learn though. Definitely got the smoking fever again!!!!!!

welcome ray , i went a similar route....had a brinkmann gourmet and bought a 18.5 wsm..... the weber is so easy to manage.
this site is tremendous too. lots of good people and good info. good luck , man.
 
The Brinkmann was a lot of work and a bit frustrating. One cook in on the WSM and I can see a big difference in the quality. Looking forward to learning more about the art.
