Dennis, thank you for posting that. I would have done everything wrong. I know I would have tried to move that pan. I have my stove top fire stop on order.
That was one powerful video!

A very nice reminder. Here we usually have electrical stoves, but the problem is the same. Starting in 2010, when building a new house, or renovating a kitchen, you have to install a sensor that reacts to heat, and shuts down your stove when it gets too hot. It also shuts down the stove after a certain period of time. I'm going to get me one of those when I get older.
