Brine vs. Salt Rub - Suggestions?

Brine vs. Salted

What is the difference in texture for the final cooked bird between the two methods? I'm planning on doing two but I can't decide which way to go. Suggestions?

Yeah I thought about that actually. Was going to keep things simple and do it all the same but perhaps I'll split them up. Which do you prefer Jim?
