To rub or not to rub

I'm planning on an Apple Brined Turkey this year. Has anyone tried a good rub? I see the creole rub, but not sure if there is anything better. Thanks. BR
 
Salt and pepper is all I do with that brine. With the brined meat and the Mad Max gravy, you don't need anything else.
 
Thanks. Do you recommend adding any herb butter under the skin?

You certainly could, but I don't. I think it stands up pretty well on its own. You could always throw an apple, orange, and/or some herbs in the cavity.
