Getting ready for cold weather in Indiana!

My favorite piece of hardware is my 18.5 WSM. I've had it a little more than a year and built a little cabinet for it so I can use it all year. I want to cook a perfect brisket in February. I hope everyone here can get me there!

Jason, welcome aboard, sir. It sounds like you are already off to a good start with your cabinet. Is it insulated? remember to account for temp loss due to exterior cold by adding some extra charcoal to the wsm. You def don't want to be caught running out of charcoal before your brisket is done!

Welcome to the board Jason.
Ya might be interested in reading up on the HH Brisket in the Cooking Topics and on numerous threads. That's how I do Butts also when it's sub-zero out.:wsm:

Welcome Jason! I like your gumption, but I hate the cold and I don't envy you in this task. How about some pics of that cabinet, eh?

I may or may not have mentioned this already, but GO BOILERS!!! (still fuming over the game last weekend)
