Hi gang. New to forums, but have referenced the site from time to time in the past for tips and tricks. Thanks for the great site!

Just got my 22.5in WSM on Thursday and did my first smoke last night with ~25lbs of butts. Made a double-batch of Miss Piggy and No. 5 last night as well. Going to be a great day! Been smoking indirectly on my 10+ year old Weber Kettle for some time, but wanted an easier more consistent temp and of course more space!

Ironically, my folks who bought me my first Weber Kettle over 10 years ago, just bought me a new Performer last week!

Anyway, looking forward to learning more and having fun.

Hi Bruce and welcome to the forum. Glad to have another Washingtonian on here. I'm over on Hood Canal on a golf course so between smokes I'm out playing golf. Again welcome and look forward to hearing about some of your cooks. Bob :wsm:
