Just got my new Weber bullet 18 1/2" and excited to try this method, I have had a Brinkman and have a Bradley, but I don't think they will do what the Weber Bullet will do.

Welcome aboard John. Always glad to see another Louisianian on t;he board. You will love your new 18 1/2 Smokey Mountain. I had a Brinkman and was always having to watch the temps. With the Weber you after you get used to th;e vent system you can set it and forget it. Using the Minion method I can hold 225 degrees for ten to twelve hours.
