Newb question on WSM mini

Alright, I got my WSJ gold and 32 qt pot from amazon. The pot was a different brand than most of the write up here, but the fit is good. But, the sticker on the side of the pot doesn't want to peel away. What do you guys do to remove the label?
 
I've heard goo gone is the way to go. I soaked mine in hot water with oxiclean and then scraped it off. I was going To sand and paint it anyway.
 
Have you tried liquid dish soap? My wife uses this to remove the labels from glassware, dishes and the bottom of candles. After setting for several minutes the soap will penetrate the paper and you can easily rub the label and glue off in your fingers.
 
Use a heat gun, they're cheap and it seriously takes the sticker off effortlessly.
No soaking, no goo gone, none of that messy crap. I took mine off in one piece with no adhesive left.
