no more high temp probles for stoker?

I ordered a stoker a few weeks ago, including one high temp probe. I got the stoker and it works quite well, except for occasional glitches, but I didn't get the high temp probe. Instead, the line item was marked "discontinued" on the receipt and the price nulled out. Has anyone been able to get one or know what's going on? I would really like to have a high temp probe when I do pizza or bread in my BGE.

I have only spoke to John once, and it was prior to getting my Stoker, but he mentioned that he was having a hard time getting the braided mesh over the wire to stay connected to the probe, on the high heat models that would go up to 1000 degrees.

Those probes are different in that they have some type of ceramic that encapsulates the actual probe. I think the braided mesh is needed to protect the wires from the high heat.

John mentioned he had them when I talked to him Friday.
