Temp Probe in Turkey?

Hi Everyone,

I don't see this mentioned in the apple brine recipe, so I wanted to post and make sure. Can I use the same temperature probe that I use for pulled pork, etc? I hate to take the lid off and poke the bird several times to check with a regular temperature probe.

Can't wait for Thursday - this will me by first turkey smoke!

Will be my first turkey smoke on Thurs too. I clean the probes on my M732 with a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol. If your concerned about cross contamination the alcohol will kill any "bugs" left from the previous cook.
