red budweiser smokey joe

went to a flea market in chicago today, found a red budweiser smokey joe for $20.

I really hate budweiser, but love the red grills, so I bought it.

I'm going to put my tamale pot on it and smoke a fatty with it this afternoon so I can see how it compares to the 3-wheel vented smokey joe.

Of course, its windy as heck today, so i have to construct a wind block first.
 
i didn't do a full inspection, but it seems to be almost new.

used two or three times most likely, very clean.

the wooden handle is in great condition, had a couple dark marks which will likely buff out.

I figured the handle was worth $20 alone

I smoked a fatty on it tonight. It worked SOO much better than my 79 3-wheel smokey joe (with really really loose vents)
