My First Smoke in the New WSM

I have been so excited all week to get this going. I received on Wednesday and am gung ho to say the least.

I bought two 9 lb butts this morning at my local military commissary. Pretty good looking butts and at .92 a lb. I rubbed them down mid to late afternoon with a blend of Rendezvous Famous Seasoning with some extra kick (ground cayenne pepper).

Anyway, I lit up the chimney at about 9:30 PM and had the smoker up at 10:00 PM sharp. Using Hickory wood chunks about the size of tennis balls and less.
