I got a pair for Christmas last year, but have never used them. If I had a lot of potatoes to do, I might consider it, but a veg pealer works fine for me.

I seen a tv show about the tater mitts and the peel willed up all the raised parts and they could not get the mitts clean.

They received a couple of good reviews. Mostly poor ones. For best results, they suggest boiling potatoes to soften the skin. Too much work.
