Chile Brownies

A friend of mine picked up some ghost chile's and made cream cheese brownies with them. They were very good and I am going to attempt them myself. Problem is he's gone for a couple months and I'm not sure what to put together for a recipe. I've made regular cream cheese brownies but I'm not sure what to do with the chiles (puree, powder, steep etc....)

I would powder the chili and add it like that. Whenever I do chilis through the electric coffee grinder into powder I sift them through a fine mesh strainer, seems I always have a piece or to of the skin that doesn't want to be turned into powder.
