Tried Sprayberry's BBQ this evening. In business since 1926. Pork BBQ pretty good. One of their claims to fame is that country star Alan Jackson waited tables there in high school.

My inlaws live in Auburn, Alabama and we've been stopping there several times a year for quite a while. The food is very good and the staff is great. The pork is good and the sides are really good - wonderful onion rings. It definitely beats stopping at any of the numerous fast food restaurants that seem to multiply yearly.
Another claim to fame is Lewis Grizzard and his signature plate. I hope it survives the fast food competition.
