WSM Cart with slide out drawer

Having seen some of the cart designs here and having a definite need (no garage/high winds) for a cart I decided to modify one of the existing designs.

The entire cart is made from various forms of leftover cedar. The additional parts are:

1. a couple of steel/rubber wheels
2. 24" drawer slides
3. leftover marine ply (for the drawer)
4. a 9" x 9" plumbers access door
5. XL BBQ cover ($5 on clearance)
6. and a 12" lazy susan bearing

It's yet to be finished, but not used. Last weekend we did a bunch of ribs at my brother and sister in laws place (they have the pics) and it worked very well. It was very easy to keep temps with no spikes and the access door made adjusting the bottom vents a breeze.

Tomorrow we're going to do some chickens and I'm hoping that the rain we had today holds off for tomorrow.

Here's the pics:

Thank you. That last picture is a close up of the plumber's access door. It's so incredibly easy to use - very light pressure from your hand will allow you to remove the door.
