Alabama Snow Chicken (pics)

After watching other people grilling in the snow I had to try since this will be my only chance for a while. The chicken turned out juicy and delicious. If the skin looks burned a bit it was on purpose because my wife likes crunchy skin.

That looks really good! Snow doesn't deter me from grilling at all. I think high winds are what screw things up the most.

Are you a native Southerner? If you are, you scored some street-cred with us up here in the tundra.

My folks are staying in Gulf Shores until April - they went there for a few months to get-away from the cold. They've been getting ticked-off with the weather - the cold seems to have followed them down there this year.....

Nice yard bird! Got 6.5" in central MS today.
Putting 2 pork tenderloins on the PK grill and a 10lb butt on the 18 WSM.

Gonna melt me some snow around the cookers!

Yep, I'm a native, born and raised. The wind was no problem since it was a north wind and I was on the south side of the house.
