Mahogany Rub


 
I used this rub on both chicken and brisket last weekend, the flavour was excellent, and the trace of sugar + the paprika gives the chicken a wonderful colour.

Mahogany Rub
**********************************************
(4 parts) paprika
(2 parts) onion powder
(2 parts) garlic powder
(2 parts) thyme
(2 parts) basil
(2 parts) oregano
(1 part ) cumin
(1 part ) cayenne
(1 part ) white pepper
(1 part ) salt
(1 part ) sugar
(1 part ) cinnamon
(1 part ) allspice
(1 part ) ginger
(1 part ) filé powder

pulverize till mixed.
