The three categories were pork steaks, brats and ground beef. I didn't get the meat and boxes, supplied by the contest, until noon with a 2pm turn-in. On top of that, I had a 2:30 turn in for people's choice...two large pork butts that had to be pulled, sauced and turned in about 1/2 a mile away. I cooked a total of four, 9lb pork butts on my little 18.5 WSM in 16 hours despite rain, wind and temps in the upper 40's. Love that little bullet!! We did our best but our presentation leaves a lot to be desired. Taste was good, one judge even came over to say our food was by far the best he tasted, but alas, we didn't win. I'd post pics but either I'm not authorized or I don't know how.
