Had dinner at Uncle Bub's a month or so ago on a Saturday night then went back for lunch on Monday.
Had the beef ribs for dinner. Nice 7 bone rack from a standing rib roast. Best beef ribs I've ever eaten in a restaraunt - meaty and tender with just enough "pull" from the bone. Had fries and slaw for sides - both were really good.
Lunch was my favorite standby - rib tips. Uncle Bub's tips are probably the best I've ever had. had the fries as a side.
Uncle Bub's won Best Sauce at the Best of The West in Reno last September. Great accomplishment! I've never been able to make it out there but know the quality of the competition.
I'm sure Uncle Bub's will be competing this weekend in the Red, White, & Cue in Westmont. Good luck to them.
