First time KCBS comp - St. Charles, IL, 6/8-9


 
really? nobody? Hoping this one isn't cancelled for lack of teams. Would be a shame to let such a close on go by the wayside!
 
I'd love to do this one, but I think it's going to be one too many weekends in a row. Memorial Day weekend we're at Westmont, then the next weekend we're cooking 80 (yes 80) shoulders for a picnic at my church. We'll be runner our cooker plus two rentals.

Dann, don't get discouraged by lack of response on here. I make a similar thread annually for the Colorado competitions I compete in and response on TVWBB is limited, but there's no lack of teams in the competition.
 
I know Dave,

I just really like to push the ones close by, as it's nice to be just a short distance away. Less gas $$$, short trip home, etc.

We had another contest in the area that didn't make enough money to come back this year.

Would like to see this one do well.

I think you're right though, they should have at least 15-20 teams I hope
 
I wish I would have known about this sooner. This is really close for me. Hope it works out so I can enter next year.
