New Mexico > Albuquerque: Powdrells BBQ


 
We all miss Mr Powdrell!

Even though I make a mean Texas BBQ sauce, my wife loves Powdrell's BBQ sauce, we buy it by the half gallon.

Being from Texas, I'm a brisket man, but you got to try the sliced pork at Powdrell's.

Good news, the Central Ave location has reopened, as of 3/5/10, they have takeout only.
 
I've been away from Albuquerque for 15 years but I still remember the good food and the friendly visits Mr. Powdrell, in his bib overalls, would make to our table.
