vent loose

It probably isn't the vent that's loose, it's the rivet that holds it on. You might be able to tighten the rivet by careful (very careful) application of a hammer and punch. No need to replace the vent - at worst, you could drill out the rivet and replace it with a bolt and nut. That's how you would have to attach a replacement vent, if you bought one.

I've tried taking just a ball peen hammer to the inside of the rivet, but you will likely chip the finish (been there, done that).

Larry has a better idea with hammer and some sort of punch to try to flatten the inside of the rivet to increase the tightness of the rivet.

Yes, in my experience (with my old kettle), trying to hit the rivet with the ball-peen hammer - if I missed, I hit the cooker. Using a punch, held tightly against the rivet, if I missed, I'd hit my hand. Not fun, but skin grows back, porcelain doesn't.
