q300 size question

I was wondering if there were any differences in the dimension sizes of the q300 over the years. a buddy of mine has a '06 and mine is an '08. the '06 q looks like the lid is slightly bigger and/or higher...
 
on second look, they seem to be the same size.

@robert, aren't the q300 and q320 the same size as well? i think the q320 merely comes with the extra warming rack and light for the lid.
