Wild Willy's #1 Rub

3/4 c paprika
1/4 c black pepper
1/4 c kosher salt
1/4 c sugar
2 T chili powder
2 T garlic powder
2 T onion powder
2 t cayenne

I prefer to cut salt in half.
 
In reviewing rub recipes, I found an error in this recipe. It has been corrected to show 3/4 cups of paprika. This is the recipe as printed in Smoke and Spice.

I also tend to cut the salt out of recipes and apply any salt to the meat myself. The joke around my house is that if something doesn't taste right, salt it.

I'm not on a low salt diet or have high blood pressure, I'm just not that much into salt.
