I am a Yank who has spent a lot of time in the UK. Contrary to what the French say, I love English food. I love Clotted Cream. OK, for you Americans, I know that sound horrid, but look for Devonshire or Double Crean in a small glass bottle.
Scoop it out and add about an ounce of cream or half and half, add a shot or 2 of Grand Marnier or brandy, a dash of nutmeg and a Tsp of sugar and whip for a minute or 2. NO MORE or you will get butter! No kidding.
Take some fresh berries-raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries or a combo and mix in the cream and top w/ a dash of nutmeg and a sprig od fresh mint. My English friends have said that I should petition the Queen for knighthood.
