Drill Bit for Hole Creation...

Hi All:
I want to drill a 7/8" hole for a thermometer install.

Wondering if this would do the trick:
Home Depot... sku# 553610
Ridgid Model# 7011 MFG Part# 4517011

I don't want to screw this up!

That hole saw would work though I'm sure you know you need a shank mandrel for it also. The Unibit would be a better choice plus you'd probably find other uses for it.

I have... but it didn't cover this bit. I guess I'm asking, "will this work?"

While it would certainly cut through the metal, my concern would be what it would do to the porcelain finish around the hole.

Yes, this tool should work.
