Basmati Brown Rice...a meal in a bowl

Soften in skillet with hot olive oil:
celery stalk chopped
carrot chopped
onion
garlic clove
Season with a liberal dose of:
Garam Masala (penseys)----thank you Ray Crick !!!
Tumeric
pinch of salt

add a small handful of roasted almonds chopped
perhaps a few raisins

add 2 cups of leftover basmati brown rice (may warmed first in microwave)

mix and eat

You will have a grand (dare I say...vegetarian) meal that is very filling.

All these flavors work very well...I'm sure their are some similar recipes out there but this just came out of pea size brain and happened to be on hand. It works and is satisfying.
