I've got some fairly green applewood (2 weeks off the tree) which I'm wondering if it would be ok to use for tomorrow's turkey smoke.
Would it help at all to dry the wood, say, in the back of the fireplace for 5 or 6 hours tonight?
I've heard apple works well with turkey but I've never used wood this green before.
