WSM Extender

I found this local manufacturer (USA) who makes an extender for Weber grills and I have approached him regarding an EXTENDER for the WSM. Not only provinding for more cooking volume, it would allow you to hang racks of ribs in the neighborhood of probably 12 or more. Maybe if more folks approached him he might find it profitable to manufacture some for WSM.

Alan,
Have you actually exchanged communication with these
folks? My understanding is they are no longer in operation.

ProBBQ is also working on a 20" bullit model that is also heavier gauge than the original Outlaw. Looks like they my be beating Weber to that as well.

Oppppps! Open mouth and insert foot! I communicated about 18 months with them but looks like they did not find a manufacturer.

PRO-Q sounds like a great deal and long overdue. My idea was to modify one top grate by removing every other grill rod. Drop the ribs down through the wider space and run a metal skewer through to support the ribs. Hanging one should be able to get 12 or more ribs in the WSM.

So sorry about the post

Yep...coming soon
