All Weber Genesis, "Q", and Summit grills are made in Huntley IL. All Weber charcoal grills including the WSM are made in Palantine IL. All Ducane, and Weber Spirit grills are made over seas.
Bill, I like your comment about the Jobs. Most of the better American Co.'s offer health care, pentions and such even after your employment runs out via retirement. This is at least part of the reason goods are so expensive.
If you look at it this way, A new car from 1967 cost about $3500.00. Since we are still paying a pention and helth care for the workers that made thoes cars, the cost for a new car in 2007 is about $35,000.00. Does this make some sense?
