I recently picked up a 220 off of craigslist for the low, low price of nothing. It's not running yet. Does the starter make any noise or clicking? It's quiet now. How can I date the grill if I need replacement parts?
if the button is red then its a piezo style starter which was in the pre 2008 models such as mine. it makes a loud clicking noise. if the button has a lightening bolt then it has a battery that might need replacing and i have no idea if it clicks. the button twists off to get to the battery.
